Vertical Centrifuges

We are a Dutch company that is researching a solution to wash a waste stream. The idea was to do a test with a centrifuge on site to keep the test as close to the process as possible. We faced some difficulties to arrange a feed pump for this test. Ferrum showed that they are thinking with us and came with a feed pump that exactly fitted in our test setup. The machine and the pump arrived as scheduled. The test was carried out by two engineers from Ferrum. The cooperation with these people went as it should be. Room for discussion, lots of knowledge and time to explain what can be learned from the test results. Our company would recommend Ferrum as a reliable supplier for high quality machinery.

In July 2020, a quick repair of worn sieves was essential to keep production downtime to a minimum. Travel restrictions due to Covid 19 pandemic made a visit of a Ferrum service technician impossible. Although the professional installation for safe and reliable operation of the centrifuge is vital and requires expertise and special skills, Ferrum supported us with Remote Service and guided us through the entire repair process efficiently. The support platform provided by Ferrum with its numerous useful functions has contributed significantly to this. We are very satisfied with the Remote Service solution and strongly recommend it to others.

We have been operating two pusher centrifuges P-50/2 for water-soluble crystalline monoammonium phosphate since 2013 and 2016. The centrifuges were delivered on time and according to specifications and have been in completely automatic operation since then. They fully meet the performance parameters and have proven highly reliable.

We would like to thank David Koch for high professional competence and responsibility during the repair of the pusher centrifuge P-80/2 in our ammonium sulfate plant. The repair was carried out at the highest qualitative level and within the required time.

Since 2005 we have been closely working with Ferrum in a great cooperation mood with all their teams, either for the Sales and for the Service Assistance. It was not always easy, because the market conditions, especially in Italy, are sometimes a bit difficult to overcome, but nonetheless I’m glad to say that we jointly acquired some very good successes. In 2021, the processing of a new product was successfully tested on a rental centrifuge from Ferrum. The machine had to be optimally configured and adjusted to the product, which required a lot of expertise and special skills. Despite travel restrictions, the mentioned activities including test runs were carried out with the help of the reliable and timely Remote Service from a Ferrum Process Engineer until the centrifuge met the qualitative + quantitative requirements to our complete satisfaction.
